1.1 Client Requirements
Client must be 18+.
References must be provided before the commission starts. I can work from visual and/or written references. Please only include the information I actually need - I don’t need to know who the mother of their grandfathers’ cousin is. Include references with the correct outfit if applicable.
The invoice will be sent immediately after you’ve agreed to the terms and must be paid in full within 24 hours, unless agreed otherwise.
Read the Terms of Service in full.
Post only the watermarked (naarielart.co.uk), low res versions online, and include ‘by Naariel’ in the title. Please do not post the High Res version online.
1.2 Personal Usage Rights
All rights and ownership of the artwork remain with the artist and you cannot alter, modify, distribute or use it for commercial nor advertising purposes unless agreed otherwise. Rights, licences and ownership can be purchased at additional cost.
The commissioned artwork is for personal use only. A Limited Usage Licence is given to the Client - I draw this for you to cherish, use as your social media avatar, put on your OC pages and print out and hang it up on your room, or gift to a loved one.
Minor changes such as cropping or adding text are allowed. Do not edit or crop out my signature or watermark.
I may alter, modify and post the illustration on social media, patreon, sell it in my shops, create merchandise, etc.
2.1 Payment and Prices

Payment via Paypal, in British Pound Sterling (GBP). Check your currency exchange rate here. Roughly 4.2% of the total price are PayPal fees (varies depending on your country). All PayPal transactions are subject to the PayPal Privacy Policy.
Do not send payments outside of invoice. Wait for the invoice.
Invoice must be paid in full within 24 hours unless agreed otherwise. Payment plans can be arranged.
Tips are very welcome! My invoices allow tips to be added with the payment. You can also send tips via paypal.me/naariel.
2.1.1 Extras and Addons
Please contact me with information on your characters and your idea for a correct price estimate. Some elements may increase the price, such as wings, creatures, etc.
Additional characters adds 85% of base price to the total.
Rush fee is +150%, (aka x2.5) subject to availability.
2.2 Commercial Licence
If you wish to use the commission on products of any kind and distribute it either for profit or on a large scale, you’ll need a commercial licence. A non-exclusive commercial licence can be bought at 50% of the price of the illustration. An exclusive commercial licence can be bought at 100% of the price of the illustration.
2.2.1 Licence to Existing Art
Contact me on naarielart@gmail.com if you wish to purchase a commercial licence for an already existing piece of art.
2.3 Cancellations and Refund
You may cancel your commission at any time for a 90% refund if the cancellation is requested at least 48 hours before starting date. After that point, no refund is possible.
If I fail to complete a commission due to illness or other personal complications, refund will be paid in full.
3.1 Technical Info / The Process
Once I receive your commission request, I will reply with a quote and start date.
You will receive two digital images of the finished painting. One high resolution, and one lower resolution version for posting online.
My default canvas is A2 with 300dpi.
Process pictures, sent via email.
Average turnaround time from sketch to finish will vary. Notify me if you have a deadline or if you would like an estimated date of completion.
I will store the files 6 months after completion. If you lose your file after that I cannot guarantee I still have it.
3.2 Revisions
Corrections are fine at any point during the painting process - but let me know what you want corrected as soon as possible!
These commissions are eligible for 1 final revision, immediately after the finished product is sent. Revisions and changes thereafter will cost £10+, depending on how much time and effort the change will be.
I am only human and I can read wrong/make a mistake. Please look carefully over your commission to make sure I got everything right.
4.1 Last But not Least
All articles of this Terms of Service are applicable unless specifically outlined within the final written agreement between Client and Artist. By contacting me for work you are hereby confirming you have read and understand and agree to the terms expressed above.
